After a three-year hiatus, ĢƵ’s Model United Nations (MUN) team returned to the National Model United Nations Conference in Washington, D.C. While having one of the smallest delegations in the college’s MUN history, ĢƵ won the top team award “Outstanding Delegation,” three position paper awards, and one best delegate award.

On November 4, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris presented ĢƵ with $2.5 million from the California state budget to expand Veterans Services Center and the resources the center. Since 2014, ĢƵ’s Veterans Services Center has assisted veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists, and their dependents/spouses with the application for VA educational benefits and their certification process.
