After a three-year hiatus, Ģ����Ƶ’s Model United Nations (MUN) team returned to the National Model United Nations Conference in Washington, D.C. While having one of the smallest delegations in the college’s MUN history, Ģ����Ƶ won the top team award “Outstanding Delegation,” three position paper awards, and one best delegate award.

The implementation of the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program is under development at Ģ����Ƶ, estimated to launch in Spring 2023. MESA is a college and career prep program, created to increase the number of economically and educationally disadvantaged students that achieve academic and career success in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Congratulations to Director of Technology Services Nick Wilkening for being named Ģ����Ƶ’s 2022 Manager of the Year! Nick, who recently returned from deployment with the US Air Force Reserve, was instrumental in assisting the college with technology needs during the COVID pandemic.

After nearly 40 years of quality career education, there are enough Ģ����Ƶ success stories to fill a book. And while these passion-to-paycheck tales tend to share certain plot elements: a Laser-focused determination, an independent spirit… they don’t always start out on the same page.

On November 4, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris presented Ģ����Ƶ with $2.5 million from the California state budget to expand Veterans Services Center and the resources the center. Since 2014, Ģ����Ƶ’s Veterans Services Center has assisted veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists, and their dependents/spouses with the application for VA educational benefits and their certification process.

Whether on the court or in the classroom, students in the sports medicine pathway at Ģ����Ƶ are scoring when it comes to gaining skills. With a supportive team of faculty, and ample amounts of hands-on learning, these Lasers are gearing up for success at Ģ����Ƶ and beyond.

On October 29, the Ģ����Ƶ Honors Program and Saddleback Honors Program hosted the . Ģ����Ƶ and Saddleback students convened in person on the Saddleback College campus to share oral presentations and poster displays of their research in a range of disciplines. Of the 47 research projects, 36 were presented by Ģ����Ƶ students. The event featured a keynote address by Dr.

Ģ����Ƶ’s Marketing and Creative Services team picked up seven Medallion Awards and one Rising Star Award from the last week. District 6 covers Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Territory of Guam.
