Join ASĢ��Ƶ as an Ambassador and gain valuable leadership experience while representing the student voice. ASĢ��Ƶ Ambassadors serve on campus committees, provide operational support, and help shape initiatives that enhance the student experience. Ambassadors also have the opportunity to participate in committee discussions and cast an implied advisory vote on matters related to their assigned committee. The position is an appointed position by the ASĢ��Ƶ President.

*Appointments for the position will be held in the Fall 2026 semester.

Requirements

The student shall be enrolled at Ģ��Ƶ at the time of election and throughout their term, with a minimum of five (5) cumulative semester units at Ģ��Ƶ.
- Alternatively, the student shall be enrolled in an adult education program offered by Ģ��Ƶ pursuant to Article 9 (commencing with Section 84900) of Chapter 5 of Part 50, at the time of the election and throughout their term.
- Or, the student is enrolled at Ģ��Ƶ at the time of election and throughout the student's term, and is a disabled student, as defined in subdivision (b) of Section 84850.
The student shall meet and maintain the minimum standards of scholarship prescribed for Ģ��Ƶ students by the South Orange County Community College District.
A student elected or appointed to serve as an officer in ASĢ��Ƶ must have Ģ��Ƶ listed as their College of Record. A student elected or appointed to serve as an officer in ASĢ��Ƶ shall not be on academic or progress probation, must be in good disciplinary standing, and shall not be in violation of Title IX.
Any officer who is under active investigation for a Title IX violation shall be immediately suspended from their position until the investigation is concluded and a final determination is made.
A student elected or appointed to serve as an officer in ASĢ��Ƶ must adhere to the Student Leader Expectations form unless alternative arrangements are made with the ASĢ��Ƶ Advisor.
A student elected or appointed to serve as an officer in ASĢ��Ƶ must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 in all college units completed at Ģ��Ƶ.
Any accommodation requests must follow the policies and procedures of the Ģ��Ƶ Disability Support Programs for Students (DSPS) office, be approved by the DSPS Coordinator, and must abide by Section 84850 of the California Education Code
A student elected or appointed to serve as an officer in ASĢ��Ƶ must complete the Stop Hazing Prevention Training.
