Sustainability Courses at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ offers many courses that delve into the concept of sustainability. This can include environmental, social, cultural, and economic sustainability topics. 

Sustainability courses at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ have been classified into two major divisions; Sustainability Focused (S-F) and Sustainability Related (S-R) courses. This correlates the Sustainability Tracking and Assessment Rating System (STARS) through the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). These definitions are stated below.

Sustainability Focused Courses (S-F):

Courses that are concentrating on the concept of sustainability including its social, economic, and environmental dimensions, or examining an issue or topic using sustainability as a lens. 

Sustainability Related Courses(S-R):

Courses which incorporate sustainability as a distinct course component or module, or concentrate on a single sustainability principle or issue.
