End of Year Message

Dear Colleagues:

The end of the spring semester provides us a time for reflection and renewal. I am truly grateful for the many ways our students, faculty, and staff rallied throughout this year. Central to our decision-making was always campus safety. Our district and ĢƵ responded not once, but twice when the situation warranted due to variant surges. Together we found ways to implement new and evolving COVID-related strategies.

ĢƵ’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

 In Fall 2020, I hosted a virtual 3-hour session on “Developing A DEI Framework at ĢƵ” where I shared the importance of creating an equity framework that aligns every program, initiative and activity to college-wide diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) goals. In my short time at ĢƵ, I’ve come to appreciate and value the many initiatives and activities that were organically created. However, creating a framework or umbrella for all of these efforts is needed to:
