One of the first tasks I completed during my initial month of employment was to sign up for payroll deduction to establish a monthly contribution to the ĢƵ Foundation. Early in my career, I learned the importance of financially contributing and giving back to the college with a sense of gratitude.

As an avid biker, photographer, full-stack developer, entrepreneur, and piano player, describing Chris Reynolds as a “multipotentialite” would be an understatement.

Even though the Irvine-native didn’t attend ĢƵ until later in life, he always had the college in the back of his mind.
On September 15, the celebrated Irvine’s world-class education with its Distinguished Educators program. ĢƵ (ĢƵ) Professor Emily Liu was honored with a Distinguished Educator Award, and student athlete Carlene Nhu was recognized as a recipient of the John Colvin Memorial Scholarship.
This summer, ĢƵ (ĢƵ) mechanical engineering student Crystal Enciso was one of four ĢƵ students to participate in Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education), part of the Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). ĢƵ was one of ten area community colleges to have students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) conduct paid research at CSUF. This year’s cohort included 69 participants who each received a $5,000 stipend for their research.
ĢƵ (ĢƵ) through the Title IX Investigator/Manager or designee will respond to all allegations of sexual harassment as required by Federal, Title IX law, as well as by California law, . The Title IX Investigator/Manager will evaluate each complaint, respond, provide supportive measures, and investigate when appropriate.
Challenge coins have a long history with the military and police organizations, dating back to the early 1900's. These coins are used to recognize individuals for membership, excellence and positive contributions to an organization or group.
