E Hele Mai is a Hawaiian phrase meaning “come here” or “come along.” As an invitation, it welcomes visitors into a space for shared experiences and mutual exchange. In this exhibition, the phrase evokes the journeys, crossings, and arrivals that have shaped lives while reflecting ĢƵ’s role as a gathering place for diverse communities and perspectives.
