Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ was selected to participate in this statewide initiative created to establish a pipeline of diverse students so that the legal profession reflects the diverse population of California. This initiative is a collaboration between the California Community Colleges and the State Bar of California through Cal LAW Pathways, a nonprofit organization that manages this initiative at the state level and supports students.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is #1 in transfers in Orange County to the UC system and  #1 in transfers in California. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ has an American Bar Association (ABA) approved Law and Paralegal Studies program and an Administration of Justice program accredited by the California State Commission of Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.)

The Pathway program requires students to complete 7 required courses. These courses are designed to support skills needed for success in law. AP classes may satisfy the course requirement. In addition, a student must achieve a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA before graduation. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Pathways program has a Mock Trial team, Pre-Law society, offers a free LSAT prep workshop, planned OC Court visits, and provides opportunities to connect with other pre-law students, lawyers, and law schools. Students are required to meet with Professor June McLaughlin to review the program requirements and determine eligibility. Students who have already obtained degrees are welcome to meet with Professor McLaughlin.
